What will you do in this role 🤩

As an Engineering Technical Writer you will be responsible for taking complex, technical information and translating it into an easily understandable format. You will work closely with experienced engineers and managers to interpret contractual specifications, engineering drawings, reports, API documentation and other data to ensure production of technical documentation that complies with set requirements. You will spearhead training and answer questions from engineers regarding contractual and API specifications. Also, Engineering Technical Writer is expected to communicate and collaborate with engineering and non-engineering stakeholders (product) throughout the projects, as needed. 

Four essentials areas engineering technical writer will own and focus on:

• API documentation  
• Product related documentation (new feature releases) 
• Internal platform (engineering) documentation 
• Technical blog 

As an Engineering Technical Writer you preferably have some previous engineering experience and will be expected to be in charge of all the initiatives where technical documentation is required.

• You have at least 1 year of experience in engineering, QA or application support areas.
• You have at least 3 years of experience writing technical documentation, including API related documentation. 
• You have at least 1 year of experience with writing technical blogs.
• You are fluent in English and able to review developers' documents and adjust where required.
