What you will do in this role 🧐

As Financial Controller, you will be part of the Financial Controlling team at Sendcloud. Together with the team, you are responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting which is used by management and other departments for planning and control purposes. This includes preparing the monthly consolidated financial statements and ensuring these are prepared in line with the applicable accounting principles. As part of the monthly closing process, you will also be responsible for making (and improving) the budget vs. actual analyses. Next to that, you have an important role in implementing new processes and internal controls, implementing finance tools, and liaising with external parties for statutory audits and compilation requirements.

Our perfect match 💗

• At least 4 years of working experience, preferably within a Big 4 audit firm or as a financial controller/analyst within a high-growth international environment 
• You have a bachelor's and/or master’s degree in accounting/finance or a related field (RA, AA, or RC is a plus)
• Proven experience in accounting and related technical areas under Dutch GAAP and IFRS (preferred)
• Experience complying with policies, procedures, and laws in an international environment
• You have experience with internal controls
• Extensive Excel and analytical skills
• Knowledge of ERP systems (experience with Oracle Netsuite is a plus)
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• You have a team-player mentality
• You like working together with other members of the accounting team (AP/AR) and coaching them where needed
• You are used to and/or like to work in a dynamic (fast-growing) international environment
