We didn't become Europe's leading e-commerce shipping platform by playing it safe. Sendcloud powers 30,000+ online retailers, marketplaces, and fulfillment companies. Helping them ship smarter, grow faster, and actually get shit done for their customers. Boring logistics? Not here. We're building the platform that solves shipping, at scale, globally!
Inside our Business Intelligence & Automation team, data is how we make the operation smarter — from forecasting and pricing to the automations that take repetitive work off people's plates. This is the place to learn fast: you'll turn messy operational data into decisions leaders actually act on, and get hands-on with where AI can create real business impact. Start small, prove the value, and watch your projects earn the right to grow.
🧐 The Role
Role Description
As a Quantitative Business Analyst in our Business Intelligence & Automation team, you turn operational data into actionable solutions that improve our processes and customer experience.
Own projects end to end across forecasting, pricing, advanced analytics, automation, and dashboarding — from first question to delivered insight.
Go beyond the metrics people ask for by proactively digging into the data to surface ideas that benefit the operation.
Explore practical ways to apply AI and automation — smart automations, LLMs to speed up internal processes — to take manual, repetitive work off people's plates.
🎯 What you'll do
Turn data into business value by building actionable solutions grounded in a real understanding of how the operation works.
Own your projects end to end, with fast execution and quick iteration that lets each one earn the right to grow by proving its impact.
Dig proactively into the data to spot opportunities across forecasting, pricing, advanced analytics, and automation — not just answer the questions handed to you.
Apply AI pragmatically to real business problems: smart automations, LLM-assisted internal workflows, and other practical uses that save time.
Build and maintain dashboards that make key operational metrics clear and usable for stakeholders across the company.
Translate technical ideas into insight through strong communication and presentation, so teams outside data can act on what you find.
✅ What you bring to the table
Personally
You're naturally curious — you don't just see numbers in a dataset, you see opportunities.
You take an entrepreneurial approach, owning your projects and getting genuinely excited about making an impact on the business.
You're eager to spot where AI and automation can create real business impact, and motivated to keep developing your skills while staying focused on solving real problems.
Professionally
A master's degree in Econometrics, Mathematics, Data Science, or another quantitative field.
2+ years of working experience with excellent analytical skills.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and comfortable working with databases (e.g. SQL).
Experience working with APIs.
Fluent in verbal and written English.
Based within travel distance of Eindhoven (e.g. Eindhoven, Tilburg, Den Bosch, Weert).
Experience writing excellent prompts, Claude skills, or similar is a strong plus. Deep machine learning expertise is not required — we use AI pragmatically rather than building models from scratch.
Nice-to-have: extra-curricular activities, cool tech hobby projects, or entrepreneurial endeavours.
