Quantitative Business Analyst - Operations

This is a hybrid position, we expect you at least 3 times per week in our HQ in Eindhoven.

What you will do in this role 🧐

As a Quantitative Business Analyst, you work at the heart of Sendcloud’s Business Intelligence and automation department! With your analytical skillset and commercial mindset you will transfer data into business value. You have a deep understanding of the business for which you create actionable data solutions to support process improvements and customer experience. You don’t only see numbers in data sets, but you see opportunities and business value.

 

As a Quantitative Business Analyst, you will deal with topics such as forecasting, pricing, advanced analytics, automation and dashboarding. But, you are not only able to calculate the metrics that others like to see, you also proactively dig into the data to come up with innovative ideas by yourself. You get energy from understanding the challenges our business faces and your strong communication and presentation skills help you to discuss insights with stakeholders from all parts of the company on a daily basis. 

 

With your entrepreneurial approach you take ownership of the projects you work on to bring the company to the next level. You understand that long term goals start small with fast execution, and that the best projects grow when they show business value.

Our perfect match 💗

• Has a masters degree in Econometrics, Mathematics, Data Science or other quantitative study
• Has 1-3 years of working experience
• Has excellent analytical skills (like a data scientist)
• Is proficient with programming languages like Python, R, etc.
• Know your way around databases (e.g. SQL)
• Experience in working with API’s
• Is fluent in both verbal and written English (living in the South of The Netherlands)
• Gets excited to work with state of the art data toolstack of AWS
• Is eager to make an impact on the business
• Did extra-curricular activities, had cool tech hobby projects or started a side business
