🧐 What will you do in this role? 

As a QA Engineer, you will join our development team and contribute to the Sendcloud system. Sendcloud integrates various carriers and online stores into a fast and intuitive tool. We release early and often, and the development team is responsible for building and maintaining the Sendcloud system.  

Sendcloud empowers online merchants to grow by automating processes and creating an efficient processing tool. Our focus is on offering a simple product, even when the complexity of the internals of our system increases.

In your role as a QA Engineer, you will ensure that our system behaves as expected. You will assist developers in different teams in understanding the complex logic behind automation and help them implement it correctly. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to set up and improve processes, ensuring quality is embedded in everything we do. 

You will also help us further improve our development stack and train the developers in your teams. You won’t be starting from scratch, as we already run thousands of unit tests and a variety of end-to-end tests using tools like Playwright, Docker, and GitLab. Additionally, you’ll play a role in reviewing tests written by developers (using tools such as pytest and jest) and provide feedback to ensure comprehensive coverage and adherence to quality standards.

💗 You’re the One We’re Looking For, If:

• You have 4+ years of hands-on experience in User Acceptance Testing and test automation.
• You know how to improve development automation stacks, helping teams deliver faster and more efficiently.
• You're skilled at implementing and using CI/CD pipelines and Test Automation tools (like GitLab CI and Playwright) to set up fast feedback cycles.
• Your coding skills allow you to confidently create and maintain automated regression tests.
• You're experienced in functional testing during sprints, ensuring every user story meets the highest quality standards.
• You work closely with Product Managers and teams to make sure all requirements are clear, testable, and unambiguous.
• You take ownership of quality and test automation, creating plans, setting goals, and executing them to improve processes across teams.
• You communicate your ideas clearly and effectively in an English-speaking work environment, ensuring everyone is on the same page.
• You're passionate about continuous learning, always looking for ways to improve yourself and help those around you grow.
• You’re experienced in agile environments and feel comfortable driving improvements within your teams.
