As a Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting the various business teams with a wide range of responsibilities, including:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
- Advising internal stakeholders on commercial and compliance matters
- Assisting with contract management and corporate governance tasks, including maintaining corporate records
- Conducting legal research and providing actionable advice to internal teams
- Collaborating with external legal advisors where necessary

To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A Master’s degree (LL.M.) in Dutch law, with a focus on business law or information technology
- At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably gained at a reputable law firm or as an in-house legal counsel in a large company
- Strong knowledge of Dutch contract law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills and a hands-on mentality
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
- Nice to have: a basic understanding of data privacy laws (e.g. GDPR, ePrivacy Directive)
- Nice to have: experience with e-commerce businesses and a basic understanding in SaaS models and service-level agreements (SLAs)
